signature() function

Constructs and returns hash string for a given set of processId, channel and payload.

Signature:

export declare function signature(processId: number, channel: string, payload: any): string;

Parameters

Parameter	Type	Description
processId	number	PostgreSQL backend pid of the publishing connection
channel	string	channel the message was published on
payload	any	message body; hashed by content, so two identical payloads on one channel produce the same signature
